Pink/plum shells ISO pics, and genetic info

I'm curious to see if you will find an egg with the inside of the shell tinted to.

Hate to be a Debby downer but I don't think you will.
It's the bloom that makes it appear pink.

It took me a little while... partially because I wanted to let the eggs thoroughly dry out before taking photos. I went ahead and got pictures of all of the eggs that hatched; #3, #4, #5 and #11 all failed. However, I can say that to me, #2 was the only one that really blushed pink at the start, and in the end, that pink appears to have been a bloom that came off - more like a milky bloom, really, than a pink one, but it interacted with the brown to look pink. Some of the brown eggs were beige inside, rather than white, but the only one with distinct color on the inside is the blue eggs. The photos were taken outside, for natural light (and because my camera is crap with artificial light). Without further ado:

Photos are: External, then Internal, for each egg.

#2: #2 A.JPG #2 B.JPG

#6: #6 A.JPG #6 B.JPG (This chick pipped at the wrong end, and required assistance. It had not broken the air pocket to gain additional room.)

#7: #7 A.JPG #7 B.JPG

#8: #8 A.JPG #8 B.JPG

#9: #9 A.JPG #9 B.JPG

#10: #10 A.JPG #10 B.JPG

#12: #12 A.JPG #12 B.JPG

I did notice that the color on some of the eggs actually seemed to change slightly during incubation.

I have a pink layer thread on here. Don't know if you've seen it but there may be some info you're interested in on there. My light brahma layed a beautiful pink/ mauve egg on occasion but as she's aged I haven't seen one in a while. As far as the inside of the shell I think it wasn't the same as the outside. The big pink egg in the pic is one of hers from last year.
