Good evening
hee! Ok I woke up to one olive egger just as it kicked out of the shell and there is currently another olive egger starting to zip now. It's day 22 and I notice that my temps are down a bit. Oh..and we got six inches of snow today so I got to stay home and watch the slooooowwww progress!
Sonew your chicks are so fat and fluffy
So far I have one from a blue egg and soon to be two olivers. That little ee is a HOOT! Everytime I put my hand in to touch it, it pecks me. Anyway, this seems to be a very slow hatch. I still have one of the blue eggs unpipped and one cuckoo maran egg...then a couple more olivers I hope! I'm not taking these eggs out until day 24 so hopefully I'll get more pips while I sleep tonight.
UPDATE: Oliver #2 is now out and screaming like a rock star in the bator.
