Oh my goodness, I need some of these chicks! You sound like me with the impatience and urge to use a hammer

So seeing as I need some of these babies, what does BLRW stand for? I'm still figuring out the breed abbreviations.

Everyone thinks I'm nuts when I say I need chicks... but sheesh, I don't just want them, I really neeeed them!

I could very well have withdrawls if I don't get my chick fix and that wouldn't be pretty.

Feed store is getting in chicks on Wednesday... Not that I've had the calendar marked for 6 weeks or anything and counted down the days. Must. Resist.

So how many have pipped? Just the one?

Yes, CarolinaGirl, it is a NEED. Some people just don't get it!!! You REALLY need Blue Laced Red Wyandotte!!! Trust me, they are absolutely stunning!!! Lemurchaser and I both won auctions from the same seller on eBay for some.

I am glad hers were first so I can see the little ones while I pull my hair out here!!! No, of course you aren't counting down to chick days.....none of us would do that!!! LOL Can't wait to see pics of your wee one.

Oh, and yeah, just the one pip so far. I am playing video clips of my other chickies for them to hear. Thought it might encourage them!!! LOL

Eep, I definitely need them then! I have a SLW and I absolutely love her. Seems like the feed store was getting in some sort of wyandottes this round... hmm.

Or maybe I'm looking for a justified reason to go check out the babies.

Editted since we posted at the same time... but at least you're playing clips! I, ahem, once clucked at some chicks who were hatching to encourage them. Yeah, I wouldn't admit that to many people.

Well, surely you could use some extra chicken feed on that particular day or something. And you know, those baby chicks have a way of sneaking into what you are buying and stuff and then when you get home it is just too late!!!

I have a Gold Laced Wyandotte and she is such a little doll and so pretty.....she is just almost a year old and I just adore her. Wyandottes are one of the breeds my mom had growing up which seems kinda cool to me, too.

I will edit to admit I WAS chirping....but I was afraid they might not understand me so I opted for the clips instead!!!! LOL

I use a calendar and actually mark off each day!!! I got it real bad.........​

i had a calendar but my friends took ( them ) away ... cuz everytime i went out i would come back with a new calendar to make sure i was on the right day.. ended up having over 8 calendars on my wall and still saying ( am i on the right day? ) LOL

my friends asked me to come over tomorrow night for dinner .... i hope it's not a intervention LOL
