We're at the end of day 18, and there's my first pip!! When I whistle, I can hear it chirping back!!

We went outside to do some yard work, and when we came in, there it was!!

So, now we wait for the other 24, LOL.

My humidity is up to 70%. Is that bad, or OK at hatch time?

No more progress, yet. I keep looking in, lol.

70% is perfect and good luck! Day 18 seems early though.

My fingers are crossed for you. It can sometimes take a good 24 hours to have them go from pip to zip to out. Just sit on your hands and walk away - excellent advice I've received from more senior forum members

I know. I sent the picture of the pip to my husband on his cell, and he wanted to leave work to come home and watch the hatch, LOL. I had to stop him, it would be a waste of a leave-early.

So, how much sleep do you think I'll get?

Must.NOT.look.in.incubator...

OMG, I'll be nuts by the time this is done. Does it ever get old?

And here I am sitting thinking what I'm going to incubate next.
