Whoa-ho-ho, three posts in a row!

We got a ton of snow today, and I know this because I broke my back getting it off tarps and such to prevent pens from collapsing. It's feeling like it's raining now, so tomorrow might get ugly. I have harp and I need to drop off the last of my homework, so I'll have to go into town in this. Hopefully it's not as bad as it seems like it will be...
In other news, looks like Lydda laid her first egg today!

No pictures of her or her egg, but I did take a few pictures of the flock today during the snow storm, long before I even realized there was a new egg out there!
Here is Lydda's sister, Callette, being a sweetie
RANGI. I believe this is the face of derp.
Umru being a dope.

I had shelter all set up for him, but he spent the morning standing on this crate by the deck, being slowly covered in snow. I set up another shelter by the deck, thinking he would use it because it was closer to the flock, but he still stood out in the snow all day. The big dummy!
Indigo. This is the face of a bird who clearly blames me for the weather. "What have you got to say for yourself?!"
Speaking of being blamed for the weather, here's Flury again.
Ihi just had a lot to say about it.
And She Who looked severe, like always.
Meanwhile, there's Marka. This is the face of a hen part of the way to broodiness. Again.
Here's Roha! This bird always has red eyes in pictures...
Lovely Rooska

Oh, that sweet face!
Margie, working on an egg

I love her eyes!
The man himself, Reuben!
And in case you forgot it, he'll remind you who's the man! (By the way, you might notice from this picture, but a lot of snow blew in the windows today!)
Winter's looking pretty manly, too.
And finally, a couple of shots of Trudi and Malcolm in the snow.
Does this count as a snowy call duck?
