Piperazine 17

Hi,

I had to deworm my hens (evidence of worms) and I've used Piperazine 17. I was told at our local feed store, Agway, when I bought the product that it had no affect on the eggs--they posted that next to it on the shelf. Lately, however, I did a search and found opinions stating that you should throw out the eggs for the same amount of time as antibiotic treatment.

Please help clear this up for me because now I'm confused as to what to do.

Check out this page on Diana's website... the recomendation here is to withhold eggs during treatement and for an additional 14 days after.
