Pipped through shell but not the membrane

I think I would help this one slightly (break a very small part of the membrane) , but I would not candle the other eggs at all. Leave them be until they are well past due. THe only reason this one may be stuck is because the membrane dried out, there is not reason to think the other ones are in the same predicament, they should be fine.

Open the bator as little as possible and dont touch the eggs....JMO

GOod luck...it is very trying!

7 are dead. 3 got through the inner membrane but never pipped. 4 didn't get through the inner membrane but are full formed probably died yesterday.

3 I helped and are now resting in the bator they had blood so I stopped.

If I had helped yesterday I bet all would have lived.

I have a hen who lays eggs with very tough membranes. Knowing this, when I had one of her eggs in my last hatch break the shell and not puncture the membrane, I took a needle and put a small tear where the chick should have punctured it. That's all the help I gave, and the chick did the rest.

Dont beat yourself up

if you had not helped, they might all be dead. I was feeling that way too when i lost mine, but you need to try to just be happy for the 3 you just saved. your their hero....post pics when you can.

Corey I know what you are going through. I have had 8 bantam eggs make it to hatch day and die. "IF" I would have helped I know they would have made it. You have to go with your gut instinct not everyone else's. So fare this morning I have helped 3 silkie bantam out of there eggs. 1 I waited to long to help and he didn't make it, the other 2 are resting in the bator. A lote of people on here say it is not nec. to help, but they do not know what is going on with "your" eggs. JMHO. Goodluck!
