Pipping and waiting....

I sure will take them home! I have hatched in the past and let a few "select" students take one or two home but not with satisfactory results.....so I promised myself I would not do that again...

and yeah....love the LYON TX7

lol i dont think i could come around to paying that much for a bator, lol but i bet since the way the light is for the brooder that since the kids cant see the chicks they (kids) will actually get some sleep tonight lol, how many came to class today and fell asleep in class lol

They're lookin good...11/13 hatched. I brought the two eggs that never pipped home to check them out. My son opened one and the embryo was still alive! It looked to me like the yolk had been absorbed but for whatever reason, he had never pipped. I put it under a broody hen together with the other egg....but he died...the other egg is still out there so we'll see what happens tomorrow on that one...

im so sorry to hear thats why i gave my eggs 25 days to hatch then i pulled the plug im so sorry well hopefully the last egg might hatch if you could i would say candle just to see if you can see any movement in it
