Pipping at wrong end and dry membrane!

Yeah he does have the brooder plate, hes staying under it at the moment.
Hes fell asleep in the brooder finally but before that all he wanted to do was curl up in my neck or hands and fall asleep, he wouldn't fall asleep in my hands unless I covered him all the way with my hands and he could put his beak through my fingers.
Out of Tansy and Dapple, only Tansy is alive in the egg so if she hatches hopefully he'll have a buddy within 5 days to a week.
They usually don’t eat till 24 hours and only drink a little bit
That yolk keeps them going as Mom would be hatching for 48 hours and wouldn’t take them to eat or drink until that was done
Check his butt make sure it’s clear of any hard goo or poo. Pasty butt can be deadly if left and not treated but easy to treat and they bounce back instantly once cleared
Baby has imprinted on you and it’s why he cries. Hopefully the next baby hatched so he has a friend soon :)

Well luckily for him (not so lucky for me, I'm absolutely tired!) I woke him up to check on him and he got curious and has started eating and drinking on his own.
He has a little hard spot in the middle of like his tummy/butt where I think the yolk/umbilical cord was. Is that okay?
Hes finally started calming down when I put him back so as of now hes just been exploring the brooder and nibbling on everything he finds.

Yes he will have a hard little thing on his belly as long as below that at the vent is clear he should be good
Him being the only one you should see poo and know it’s from him

It'll be 3 more days until day 23 for the next egg and I already know this egg will mostly likely have to be assisted (the air cell seems to have formed kind of awkwardly and the duckling is very difficult to see, you can only see it when you candle from the side and it appears to be behind all the veins and stuff but it is still alive!)

What do you mean by air cell is weird ?

I noticed Newt has had some wet poo on the fluff under his vent place and its been about 2 days now, I've tried to clean it off but it doesn't seem to go.
His butt is usually wet most of the time since he walks all in his water. I've checked his vent and he doesn't have pasty butt but is the wet poo on the fluff okay?
