Thank you soooo much for this! Now I know what to look for. For some reason I expected that a chick hatched with a ball of yolk attached to it's belly and now I understand that this is not the norm.

Chicky Tocks, you are most welcome. And thank you!! - There shouldn't really be a ball of yolk attacked to the belly, but sometimes they do hatch out that way. I had one in my first hatch that had a small ball of yolk down there. It survived OK.
 
Amazing Photos! Thanks! This was great for the whole family to see as we have 2 weeks to go on our first hatch. We would love to see a pic of the fluffy little chick.

I would love to print this out for my class to see...we are incubating in our Kindergarten Class....Can I??? I would use it for classroom use only to explain what we are going to see....
