What is your humidity? If the shell is "stuck" to the chick, I'm wondering if your humidity is too low & the membrane dried onto the chick. Is it attached by the umbilical cord (absorbing yolk) or the membrane?

I think it might still be absorbing, maybe? There are blood vessels.

What is your humidity? Leave it alone since the blood vessels are still viable. If you can, get a cup, put the chick & connected shell, yolk & membrane into the cup. In other words you're keeping the chick up right & from moving around, giving it time to absorb the yolk & not break the blood vessels. Keep the cup in the incubator.

Humidity is at 74%. I have a small cup but how do I keep her in it? She is very active. Do I need to worry about her hurting the other eggs?

Humidity is good ... She won't hurt the other eggs, just wouldn't want her "tearing" apart from the egg shell while the yolk & blood vessels haven't been absorbed.

When I put her in the cup she sat perfect inside the halved shell. She has since tried to get out of her plastic prison. Should I try I bigger cup? The vessels attached to the shell are also getting tangled around her leg. She really wants to be active and run around. Also since she is probably going to stay in the incubator another night should I add a water dish?

My brown egg has not progressed at all . Our first little one is still doing ok, half her shell fell off but there is still a lot of cord hanging with a little piece of shell. We have two more blue eggs that have pipped but they are taking their time too lol. My hose splashed a little water while filling the trenchs so my humidity is at 77% at the moment.
