Yeah! Everything is right on time, we had an egg pip last night about 11ish, and continues to crack, movement and peeping! So excited, all this waiting is driving me crazy! Hopefully the other egg will pip too, its due tomorrow.

Let's go chickie!

how do you tell chicks apart from female or male?
I would love to see pictures if possible so i can sex my chicks if and when they hatch.
congratulations on your new boy.

There is the classic "Vent" check but i have found a little easier way, called "feather sexing". When your chick is fully dry you will spread the wing (must be with the first few days of life) if you see a straight line of feathers its a boy if you see 2 layers of feather one closer to the wing the other normal length you have a girl.

Girl chick, males don't have the short layer.
