Just comparing Blue (hand raised) and Darwin (Broody raised). Both are friendly and follow me around. But when I pick up Darwin, she acts like I'm gonna turn her into a nugget.
When I crouch down to see Blue, she squeezes herself under me and falls asleep! So sweet!

Yeah that's I think the only reason I don't like hatching with broody hens

Usually raise them in the guest room (where I keep my torts too, but obvs not together lol) but not sure this time. I usually integrate them at 6-7wks but If these guys are smaller and weaker they might have to stay longer.

Did you ever hatch eggs in winter? ( I am only asking because I never did and I need some advice because I cant decide if I should incubate or not)
