The littles (the 2 POL d'Uccles and the ~1mo d'Uccle and EEs) are prime hawk snack size, so they're confined to my patio for outside time. They have a run in the yard as well but they bicker less on the patio :)

I saw young pullet D'uccles at the place where I work yesterday...god help me.
I'm already scheduled to either hatch out some eggs or raise chicks (D'uccle) at the end of the year....will I make it!?!??!
You won't. D'Ucccles are too great.

Question for you... when your d'uccles are out.. even tho they are hawk snacky snacks.. do they try to fly over walls or fences? When I let mine out in my living room (house chickens), they fly along the ceiling which is 9' (3 meters)! And fences are only around 5'...... They will have an outside run and yard soon.
