since I got katie I've been getting 5-7 eggs a day... But now only getting one because of the heat.
Make sure you have shade for them (block ALL direct sun) and water down the run 3 times a day. I just got a ceramic planter dish that I've filled with water and seen them standing in. Its been over 100 here and mine are still giving me 5-8 per day! Everyone in my area is complaining about eggs stopping as well, so i know this is helping.

Hey @PippinChicken, I noticed a while back that one of your chickens had bumblefoot and you knew how to treat it. One of my chickens has it too and I was wondering if you could send me the instructions on how to take care of it. Thanks!
I've found it best to soak and use a drawing salve. No surgery required.
Just soak, pat dry, rub the salve on it, and wrap with vet wrap. Do this 1 to 2x a day. Once the scab falls off, you can gently squeeze the core out. After that apply antibiotic ointment 2x a day, and continue to use vet wrap until it is healed &forms a new scab.
Wear gloves, this is a staff infection. Don't wrap too tightly.
