Ok so I have some things to tell you that happened this morning!
- Blue is teaching kids to forage indoors
- Pippin took her kids outside
- Pippin and Blue had a small fight, but it was nothing

This happened a few hours ago...
This morning I was looking out the window and I saw something zoom past, Darwin and Raven.
I went outside to have a look at what was happening.
Darwin was trying to mate Raven, but she definitely did not want it, he was grabbing her feathers out and she was screaming out for help.
Strangely, Ginger did not come to her aid.
So I grabbed Darwin, pulled all the feathers out of his mouth, and threw him aside. He ran off, and I turned to Raven.
Poor Raven looked so scared, so I gave her a quick hug and put her back down. I was expecting her to run off to the flock, but she stayed, purred, and ran back to me for another hug.
Well, Raven is a sweet chicken, but only if you grab her, and calm her down. So her wanting another hug was unusual.
I gave her what she wanted, another long hug, then set her down again. She didn't leave, and came back for another.
I was cold, and let's face it, Raven wasn't going to go any time soon, so my mum suggested to take her inside, for a bit.
We sat in the warm house, having a big hug, and feeding her some toast. She stayed for a while, then we let her out. I told her that if Darwin did that again, I'd throw him in a bucket of water to make him embarassed
She ran back to the flock.
