I judge them. I had one lock onto my dog as we were going for a walk. Another had its home buddy pinned down for hours, while everyone desperately tried to get it to detach without killing anyone else. It had previously killed a neighbors small dog. Another friend was unable to manage hers and it killed someones dog as they were walking by.. and I don't know that many people with pits. Unfortunately, there has been so much bad breeding, the dog is no longer stable. PEOPLE (not the dog itself) ruined the breed.

The owners shape the dog in most cases, or particular breeding. But it's not right to say "all pitbulls are mean"

Not all anything is anything.. but based on experience, I steer clear! I don't have confidence in most people's level of intelligence. Dumb person = dumb dog!
