Here is Miss Truffles giving me "the look". She's going to be a diva. I can tell already!

Here she is with Schnitzel. Yes, Truffles is the one looking at the camera. She was the first to pip, the first to hatch, and now she's all over the brooder. Totally a diva. She'll climb all over him if I stick my hand in there. She wants petted FIRST. And boy is she a talker.

And I have another egg unzipping now! Yay!

I have a third goose, a little girl! Sushi is now in the brooder with Schnitzel and Truffles! Oh, I hope that fourth Pilgrim egg pips! It looked fine when I candled it last. I really want another gander.

Soccer Mom, I think that you shipped me some African eggs? Out of six, two were fertile, and both are growing! On one of them the air sack is messed up, but the chick inside seems to be doing fine! I hope that both hatch out great in a week or two!
