Pity chicks??? Anyone... A fellow BYCer lost nearly thier whole flock

An unknown preditor has gotten in and got Secuono's flock... Anyone have chicks hatching for shipping.... possible charitable heartedness.... Such a sad loss...

Where is the fellow BYCer located? I have a beautiful pair of 2-month-old younglings I am trying to rehome and would like to keep them together. They are an EE/delaware cross. This pairing has produced beautiful chickens before, and the lady that has them (gryeyes--also a fellow BYCer) has two of the daughters & they both lay pretty minty-green eggs! They are mostly white with small pea combs. I have a male/female pair. I can get pics uploaded this evening.

I'm in northern California/Sierra foothills if the person in need of chickies is close-by and is interested in these chicks.

I don't really have much of a preference breed-wise. Though some of my faves that are gone were; blue silkie, white cochin, bared rock bantie roo, blrw, ees, all three of my spotted california whites, and all but 1 of my RIR pullets are gone. Got to head to work...will be at the house adding hardware cloth, wont be back until late.

Thanks you guys. I'll be waiting until next year's TSC chicks come in. Will try again with the gold comets, caramels and the rir pullets. But I am still looking for the Spotted California chicks. TSC had them, all the ones I see elsewhere are solid white. My 3 I got from them, 2 had the black in them as juvies before they were eaten...

I've got a few Roosters, free for locals to pick up. Not as many as I had before, but just 2 or 3 that need to go.
