Ok, here is my first attempt to post pix! Here are the pix of one of the "frizzle cochins" I received from McMurray. Dark slate blue/gray shanks, beak, and dark skin, and 5-toed. Is this a frizzled cochin? Do white cochins have dark skin and a 5th toe? Or is this chick something else?
    Thanks,
    Jessi

His feathering is odd but yes that's either a frizzle, sizzle or frazzle (frizzle to frizzle).

The silkie traits you're taking about are common ones. They share those with our sizzles. My sizzles mostly have five toes and black skin.

Are his feathers curled or just frayed? Frayed and straight is a smooth Frizzle or Frazzle.

Cute lil bugger, I just love mine.

The feathers are frayed and completely straight. I've been looking at pix of sizzles, etc and I can't find anything that looks like the feathers I have here! Guess I'll have to wait and watch!!!

That is a fairly odd feather. Be interesting. It's a frayed smooth feather. Next gen might produce frizzle, might not. At least you can say he's unusual.

These are my sizzles - silkie/frizzles now

I have two smooth feathered ones but they have normal straight feathers, dark skin and five toes. They're neat.
