How very touching indeed. The world is a much warmer place with caring people like yourself helping animals who cannot but endure the cruelties of man silently. I am sure every waking day you are rewarded with the love they have to share.
That is so awesome, Kudos to you for doing the right thing! What beautiful birds. It just breaks my heart to see that they suffered. How sad, that we, the superior race, treat an animal the way some do. That meaning, the commercial farms/people who neglect and abandon.
Here are some I took of Big Fat Chicken last night, he's the one with necrotic tissue on his bum.
He had just discovered the space heater and was doing the chicken flop. The pix make him look so smal but hes a big fella.
And the full flop, take a look at those neck feathers all fluffed out!
Did I miss a post?? where did the birds come from?? I know you rescued them, but where, not specific, if you broke into a test lab and stole them that is fine with me, or did someone dump them in your yard cuz they couldnt care for them anymore?? etc.............. Trying to see the BIG picture and the little ones are fuzzy
Well the hen fell off a chicken truck when I was on my way to the vets office I found her on the road.
The others came from a factory farm.
I made a few posts about them previously so you can check them out and get the full story behind them
Oh and the hen is off her meds and is good enough to join the rest of the flock outsied today! WOOhooo

Hope nobody does that. That would be terrible thing to do as if they were being controlled tested, one could destroy lots of animals outside of a facility. Plus, most test places take better care of their animals with more vet attendance than even the most spoiled home pet. That's your tax payer dollars

I wouldn't do that, knowing my luck I would get the chicken with aids and it would bite me.
