living in the city is really expensive, that’s true.

there are some quieter parts of manhattan, though. and the food is incredible.

Food is everything I guess.

I eat the crust when the pizza's fresh, or if the crust's stuffed.
If I'm eating leftovers the next day, I throw the crust away.

I don't eat the crust, but it doesn't get wasted. My dog love's pizza night here, and will never turn down my crust.

Which side are you, or does it depend on whether the crust is stuffed or not?

I said yes, but it depends on the crust. If it’s not very good then I don’t eat it. If the crust is good, then I do.

I was taught how to make a pie by the mom of an old girlfriend who was second generation Italian American. When I make them at home, I use her recipe for the dough, though admittedly I don't use anything close to traditional toppings. I have a stone on the grill that I use for baking pies. Usually we'll do personal (like 8-10 inch) pies for everyone. I'll get them set up with the blanks (dough/sauce/cheese) and they top them with whatever they prefer. Then I will cook them. Works out pretty good and no one leaves the crusts.

If I'm being lazy, it usually means we get Pizza Hut, because I can't stand most of the other options (and my wife loves their breadsticks). It's not as good as homemade, but it's a conscious decision between quality and convenience.

The crust is the best part!

If it’s an extremely thin crust I sometimes don’t, as it can be too hard to bite through.

But if it’s a fluffy, soft, delicious crust: heaven.
