Godfathers is the best hands down for bought pizza.
I like it anyway you can make it with loads of everything!
My all time favorite though, is home made... I have an awesome crust recipe and add sauce, spices, cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, sausage... etc..
Put 1 cup of very warm (not hot) water into a bowl
Add a tsp of honey and a TB of olive oil
Dissolve a packet of active dry yeast into that.
Put a towel over the top and stick it in the cupboard until the yeast gets all poofy.
When that is ready just add 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour and get that all mixed up (you can add a little salt to the flour first, but I don't). Form it into a ball on the bottom of the bowl and smear the outside with olive oil.
Now cover it up again and wait an hour.
Now push the dough around gently into the shape of a pizza (it doesn't need to be round). Do NOT roll it. Add toppings. Bake at about 425 or so for as long as it takes. (It seems to vary with the toppings)
Edited to say that cornmeal on a pizza stone will help with the sticking. If you are just using a cold cookie sheet you could wipe some more olive oil on it.
Its not hard Wendy. Do you have a mixer? Even a bread machine makes pizza dough?
I use this recipe all the time.....
Quick and easy pizza crust
2 cups bread flour (I just use regular flour normally)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 package quick rise yeast (I buy it in the bigger container and a packet is 2 1/4 tsps...if you cant find quick rise in the big container....I just use regular yeast).
3/4 warm water
1 tblsp oil
I put a little oil on my stone and then dust it with cornmeal.
You can do it on a cookie sheet too....just hope it don't stick. I have a deep dish recipe somewhere too that I use in a glass 9x13 pan.
