Plan to candle tonight

I will candle my 1st batch of turkey eggs placed into the incubator tonight. I am going to attempt to get pics. Just bought a new candler off ebay a few days ago and am looking forward to trying it out.

Well I candled the first batch earlier and results were mixed. I have 100% fertility and developing embryos with the Royal Palm and Bourbon Red eggs. The Black Spanish did not fare so well. I had 1 good egg and 6 duds.

I took the duds out and swapped them for the 6 eggs that were in the BS nest. I want to see if these eggs are fertile or not.

Here are a couple of pics I shot. My battery was low and the quality is not great. I will try for some better pics when I candle batch 2 this coming weekend.
