WHEN IT COMES TO HATCHING EGGS YOU HAVE 3 TYPES....

EGGS

TRICKY EGGS

AND...

%&*^^(^%*()_ EGGS!

BOBS ARE SLIGHTLY INTO THE TRICKY SECTION.... JUST A TAD MORE HUMIDITY SENSITIVE THAN COTURNIX BUT NOT BAD REALLY. YOU'RE GENESIS SHOULD BE PRESET FOR TEMP... DURING INCUBATION YOU WILL TURN FOR 21 DAYS, THEN LOCKDOWN FOR HATCH 3 DAYS WITH NO TURNING. HUMIDITY SHOULD BE 40-50% DURING INCUBATION AND 60-70% DURING LOCKDOWN. I SET ALL MY EGGS IN THE UPRIGHT POSSITION FOR HATCHING SO WHEN THEY GO INTO LOCKDOWN I SIMPLY PLACE THEM UPRIGHT IN SHIPPING FLATS OR YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR AUTOTURNER IN AND SIMPLY UNPLUG IT ONCE ITS BACK IN THE UPRIGHT POSSITION.

YOU'LL FIND BOB BABIES ARE WAY MORE COLD SENSITIVE AND EVEN MORE PRONE TO DROWNING THAN MOST OTHER SPECES SO KEEP THAT IN MIND WHILE BROODING, AS WELL AS THEIR JUNKYARD DOG PERSONALITIES (THEY ARE MEAN LIL SUCKERZ) SO A CLOSE EYE AND RAPID INTERVENTION FOR AGRESSION GOES QUITE A WAYS WITH THESE LIL GUYS. GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY
