You know, not doing anything different - but I have a lot less lower back pain nowadays. Like I said, except for the plank stuff, nothing different...
I don't know if you feel this or it's just me, but when I am doing the regular plank (not side or revers) I can feel the release of pressure specifically on my lower back, even to the extent of feeing some of the bones "popping" into place.
