Planning for chicks! I have many questions, and will post pics...

I will, however, be out there all morning, early afternoon, and again in the evening, so they will get checked on tons.

I am raising them with people who have a lot of experience, and have a brooder ready. I have a hen who might adopt, but am not counting on it.

Sorry, no pics yet, February 20th is chick day! Decided to add an Americauna and polish as well, Polish will be Pom-Pom,(not my idea) and no idea about the americauna. Who knows what breeds the rest will be. I hope I get all hens! (That is practically impossible though.)

The weather is starting to warm up here, about 45-50 degrees so I figure that by the time they are ready to start going out, it will be a pretty good temp for them. That will be about mid March.

As long as any roosters I might receive are docile, I can get them a good home.

Our newest silkie is a pom-pom... It's a great name for a foof head.
