Where I live mink are the threat, I think they have quite similar MO to weasels but sneakier and able to fit into even smaller holes.

Mink are the big ones, weasels are the little guys who can go wherever a mouse can go.

American mink are about 2-3 lb., weasels weigh 1/4-1/2 lb.

Look up "Weasel box", a rat trap is just right for a weasel...

Unless you want to make a coat, yes!

My sister has lost several chicks to weasels. They can grab a chick through metal mesh they can't even squeeze there body through, and pull the chick through in pieces.
