Plant ID help please!

Could it possibly be a Black-eye Susan plant?

No that is not a Black-eyed Susan, unless there is some variety totally different than the one I grow. I have several that volunteer every year from the seeds, hundreds this year.

I just took this shot, a different color (it is in full sun) but also a different texture, not as smooth as the OP's plant.

 I honestly don't know - I wouldn't think so as I have never planted any of those and I doubt they grow wild here. I'm just thinking it may be a weed (I do have similar looking ones but they don't seem to be quite the same!).

Haha, ya I went and checked mine after I posted. That's a definite no on the black eye Susans lol.

This is good to know, I am horrible at plant identification too.
Yeah, we moved in August, and I have been trying to figure out what things we have growing here. That app isn't foolproof, but it has helped me a lot. Sometimes it will give you multiple options and you have to look at the pictures to decide which it is

That is great to know, I've got some stuff coming up in one on my perennial bed that I'm not sure if it is weeds or flowers lol.
