That hutch is adorable! I love the little ramp. Quail LOVE basil, mine also adore chopped (super fine) cabbage, carrots shredded, hard boiled eggs (you can just smash them/they eat the shell too!) they don’t go wild for berries, but kale, lettuce, birdseed in tinnnnyyyyy amounts! I also give mine itsy bitsy little “sushi” rolls, which are fine sliced kale with a lil bit of tuna (not raw) and hard boiled egg all rolled up! They love those!

When I had a greenhouse available, i grey barley for the quail. They nested in it more than actually eating it, but clover is another easy to grow they adore, along with any micro green!

If you’re asking about what colors the quail are, I’m hopeless. I didn’t even know what half of mine were until I looked it up . It took my kids a while to get used to the greens too! They might like it more if you shred it smaller for them, makes it easily accessible.

If you're asking for the colours of the quails, I'd say

1 Silver
2 Red breasted
3 Silver tuxedo
4 Cinnamon
5, 6 & 7 hard to tell from the photos. Maybe red breasted or blue face
8 Red breasted (the females look very different to the males)

If you got some more photos of 5, 6 and 7, I may be able to help determine the genders and mutations.
