Nearly pornographic advertisement for some thing called "Play Free" in the right hand side bar? When I am on the Management forum

Seems unlike other things you have on this site.

I saw this same ad here while logged out the other day. I was surprised to see something so racy. :idunno

Sometimes ads show up due to cookies your computer collects while browsing other websites. Not to say you were on any racy websites, but they can be picked up from innocent sites like Facebook, Pinterest, couponing sites, etc.

It's definitely a good idea to give a heads up though, but you could also try clearing the cookies and browsing history on your internet browser. You should be able to do that in the options section on the left hand side of the browser screen (if you have a PC computer. Not quite sure how to do it on a Mac, but I'm sure I could find out)

Interesting. I have not seen that as but I'm generally on my mobile device. Definitely good to let the BYC know about this then!

Not that this is the case with this particular ad, but internet cookies come from all websites, not just ones that have the same content. I've gotten weird cookies from very innocent websites. Cookies are basically bits of information that are stored in your computer. Some websites need cookies to work. Others add them to make ads works.

I just flagged myself to the moderators to alert them to the ad...hopefully I didn't just earn myself an infraction, but it has been reported.

THANK YOU. I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE. THIS IS COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE FOR THIS SITE. AS MUCH AS I LIKE BYC, UNLESS THIS AD IS REMOVED IT'S A DEAL BREAKER.

Thank you for the info. We will get it taken care of.Please do not post your screen shots here as it perpetuates the problem. If you have any more you can PM them to me or Nifty-Chicken.

Thanks

Thanks for reporting these. The ad networks we work with are suppose to filter out this kind of garbage, but sometimes they slip through. As soon as you see them, please let us know and we'll remove them ASAP.
