Playhouse progress, the one from lowes

The Lowe's in Fayetteville did not carry that cute playhouse, not that I needed another coop, but I have thought a buncha times how cute it would be to add on to my existing structure, loL! And Miss Prissy thinks she has it bad!! When you spend your free time wodering how to make your chicken living quarters better and what new treats they might like and planning your feed store visit into your budget, you have it sooooooo bad!!!!!


I can't wait for you to finish that Silkie, it looks like it will be so sweet!!!! Guess "silkies" will live there, right?!

I got two this weekend from Lowe's, quite a battle to get them to honor the price of $199. One is already put together, the other in the box.

Word of advice, DO NOT rely on the website to tell you if they are in stock at any store. The website kept saying they were not in stock at my store and they had 10 of them at one time.

I am going to call up lowes and see if they have them and if mine price match which most likely they will. only thing is how many standards and bantams will this hiold (mix flock of bantams and standards.) We have 3 barred rocks, 4 sex links, 3 silkie roos and loosing one this week and hopefully the other and hopefully I have 2 buff orp girls and 1 buff orp boy. or should I just stick to the coop I am building now

I'm new here. I have seen your posts about the Lowes playhouse and decided to call my local store (Orangeburg, New York). They were very nice, said they don't have that in stock anymore. They suggested I look at the Belamy Playhouse that was originally 399 but going on clearance for 100. It's item # 276546 on the website. I'm going to pick mine up today. Maybe you can ask about that one at your Lowes. Hope this helps someone.
