Update!
Here it is on the pallet floor sitting on leveled bricks that are sure to heave next winter. It has it's roof on, the primed parts painted white and windows put in.
Shutters are still not on and it needs another coat of white paint on the roof to cover the screws I used to put it together. I have silicone sealant between the roof boards and still have to seal the windows because I ran out. It is assembled with the ability to later dismantle, place onto the floor and relocate if necessary.
So far it has 1 gallon primer on it, 1 gallon red paint, 1 quart white, 1 quart floor sealant red.
Oh...almost forgot... I need to attach door handles, the lock, attach it to the floor it, and add interior stuff like roosts and nests.

So far break down is about...
100 for the coop
80 for the shipping
80 for paint + acessories
70 for other tools of my very own now that have come mighty handy
35 for screws, floor, plexi glass and lock
365 so far... boy spontaneous purchases really bite hard!
I would have to say that besides my car... this is the most expensive project that I have undertaken that has almost no usefulness to it. It is more for me than the birds. LOL Since the birds have more functional living establishments that cost under 100 bucks including paint....
This by far is the most happy making though! And that's the important part. I call it my graduation present to myself.
