If I had Peep free-ranging I would be worried he would run after me every time I drove off.
Probably the most annoying thing is when you are working on a roost and you don't have it completely nailed up and Peep decides to fly up onto the roost before it is finished.
My favorite inquisitive peafowl moment was when I was rolling a huge log into their pen for them to use as a perch and Peep jumped onto the log while I was rolling it and he did a great job walking on the log while I rolled it. It was so funny to see! I also like thinking about the time when Damsel found a key ring with a bunch of old keys on it. She picked it up and jangled it and then dropped it and I was like "Where did those come from?" evidently they had been lost for quite a while. I also found an old wrench in their dust bathing hole. I think my birds are treasure hunters!
