Can you show pictures of where owl is coming in?

I bet the owl is coming in more than you know. Odds are primary interest for owl is rodents. When chicken definantly dead, then leave it in place to distract owl until you can owl proof your setup. Otherwise the owl will make a second kill on next visit.

I mess will owls a lot and see the birds relocate when owl comes in.

The owls are attacking in pairs, we know that much for sure. I put up mirrors surrounding both locations the owls hunt, and it didn't help. They came back two nights in a row, killed my beautiful Americauna last night. I'm down to one rooster and a budding cockerel, a pure white/buff Seabright that was the original victim the night before and an OE. I can't figure out why my chickens won't relocate this time. They are being plucked away one by one by opportunistic hawks and falcons by day, and owls by night, and yet still won't go to the coop that is so familiar to them

Is there any openings in their coop? Cause if so I'd try to block off all openings. I hope soon they will get over the PTSD.

Pen birds in coop and close it up. Do not rule out ground predators being involved as well. When you have losses like that you cannot ride it out letting birds adjust themselves.

"Help" the chickens into the coop ... pick them up, put in coop, lock the door.
