Playtime in the yard

I snapped some photos of our playtime in the backyard the other day. They are 7 1/2 weeks now and I can't believe how much my babies have grown up! I think my roo might be thinking about crowing, he seems to be experimenting with weird noises right now

They are definitely getting more brave and exploratory, even my littlest BR "Eggie" is venturing farther and farther away from the coop. I've been having so much fun watching them get bigger and I'm really looking forward to when they start laying, even though it's still a ways off.

I know! The funny thing is that they totally look like adults but if you see them in person they are quite a bit smaller than a full grown chicken. I think they're about bantam sized right now... Actually they kind of make me want to get a couple bantams cuz they're so darn cute at this size
