Please Advise!! Major SOS

There are so many potential factors that can cause something like this - diet and condition of the breeding group(age, level of inbreeding etc), handling of the egg pre-incubation, frequency of turning, conditions during incubation... Could even just have been a terminal chick from the start - not genetic combinations are winners....

If it is one chick out of many, I would not be too concerned. If you are having trouble with a majority of the hatch, then it's worth looking into. If these were shipped eggs or brought in from another location, this will affect the hatchability. Shipped eggs that have traveled far will give the most trouble with hatch rates as low as 50% for some.
