"Sweetie, please come home! Why do you hate me so much!" Layla screamed, falling on the ground as tears streamed down her cheeks.

(So she didn't die? Awesome!)

With a yell, Gemma ran right into Shadow, bouncing back a little ways as she stumbled. Finally, she stopped, and pricked her ears forwards, shaking slightly as the tears welled in her eyes. "Hello?" she whispered. "Who's there?"
