Bea trotted not too far from Dahlia's gaze in search of a friend to play around with. Her mother took a few steps closer in case anything was to happen.

Soon they hit the stream, the water flowing gently with little bloops and sounds. A few wildflowers sprouted alongside the small creek and several minnows thrived within the land, wiggling their small, shimmering bodies against the current.

Adam lowered his head, and gently slid Sprite off.

Gingerly, Phoebe began to pull the sharp quarry stones imbedded into Sprite's skin off with her teeth, setting them aside. As soon as she cleared them from her body and licked more of the blood off, she gently splashed the cool, crisp water onto all of the injured mare's wounds with her muzzle.

"That's probably a good idea," Americus nodded before walking over to Bolt. "Wait... He gets playtime, right?"

"Only a litte...".

"Okay. I'll probably just play with him a bit," Americus said before turning to the colt.

"Hello, Bolt," Americus smiled, talking in his "Daddy" voice.

The colt smiled at him.

"Want to play with Daddy?" He asked, smiling.

"Don't be so soft!" She called out, trotting away with the filly on her back.

He nodded and sprang down from the log, prancing towards Americus.

"I won't, especially if he's bad," Americus called back.

Phoebe's adopted filly wandered up to her, "Whewe my Mwommy?" She asked.

"Your mommy is busy right now, but she requested that your grandma babysat you," said Dahlia, smiling at the fact she was now considered a grandma even if it made her feel old, which she really wasn't. "I was looking for you! Where have you been?" she asked playfully, though very concerned all at the same time. Bea pricked her ears at the other filly and pranced up to her with her little feet.

The filly giggled, and snuggled into Dahlia.
