Claire rested her hand on the ground, and leaned back, looking around her. She suddenly looked to Lydia, who came troting over to her. Claire slowly stood up, somewhat wobbly from her fall.

Evander's tail spread in an ebony spiderweb behind him as he waded through the water, and he gingerly stepped up to the muddy shore and climbed out with his teeth clenched on a cattail as he heaved himself out of the water. He shook his mane, his hair wildly thrashing left and right, sending drops of silver flaying about before it all fell onto his shoulder. He smiled boyishly in contentment before trailing off when his eyes laid on a familiar figure in the distance; Sienna.
