Before the words were even out of Shadow's mouth, Gemma had splashed into the water, a sigh of pleasure escaping her as the cool water lapped her sides. For a few moments she struck out into the middle of the pond, enjoying the feeling of groundlessness before paddling back to Shadow.

Shadow smiled, and helped hold her up in the water. "Still like swimming?" She laughed. Layla slowly entered the water, and nuzzled Gemma as she swam.
