Just went to this site, and scrolled down, turns out Monty IS A MALLARD! A Bibbed Domestic Mallard to be exact. Thanks all who helped! I couldnt have figured it out with out you putting my brain to work.

Road Runner is a Buff orpington while Monty is a Bibbed Domestic Mallard

I have a few males who look just like Monty. They are Pekin/Rouen mixed (I have both Mom and Dad). They are quite large though - probably around 9 pounds. Considering Monty was a wild duck, I can see where it is much more likely he is a bibbed mallard!

No matter what the breeds, your ducks are beautiful!

Thanks so much! Monty sure is a beauty, he is middle aged but acts like a grumpy old man.

He is not that old, but I have caught him and chuck, my male mallard "bill fighting" Should I be concerned? I have only one female, and two males. Im not allowed to get any more ducks, except whatever my female has.

Well I think you have a male Buff Duck and the other duck is a magpie

Did some extended research and found that Road runner is a Buff Orpington and Monty is a Bibbed Domestic Mallard Thanks all who helped!!!
