if you are worried yoou might sell a pullet then keep this one while you are thining down as long as you can keep it. silkies are a hard breed to sex at times so i always do recommend on keeping them as long as possible to be for sure

depends on the quility...my parents silkie hens have combs that are about that size from a hatchery

Looks like a roo to me.

I think a pullet because it would have a spiky crest and would probably be crowing by now if it was a roo.

thats not true again mine is 20 weeks no crowing so people stop saying this thanks .. for the crowing
