Please evaluate this comment. Ebay egg seller says...

It appears you may have been sold some older eggs. I only ship fresh eggs, but once I did accidentally put in a Rose Comb RIR egg when the order was for Single Comb RIR eggs. I was really surprised when the buyer told me a Rose Comb had hatched, oops... I always send extra eggs.

cmom By the way those look very pretty.

I have received many interesting wrapping jobs. One ebay seller sent me eggs in bubble wrap ROLLING AROUND THE BOX! with a little bit of newspaper.

I've ordered hundreds of dollars of eggs from ebay sellers. There's only been 4 sellers so far that I've been ticked at. So I'm wanting to learn about how to handle this stuff.

Seller A: "Rolling Around the Box" seller...small rolling air-cells. All eggs were quit by day 11. Offered her to pay the postage and send me a properly secured batch. She kept insisting it was the post office. Ebay returned my money.
Seller B: Sent an old batch of eggs... (large rolling air-cells) which have been developing and now have been quitting (11 days in).
Seller C: Eggs were left in incubator until day 15, NO Development at all, cracked them open, all were nice and yellow...no development at all.
Seller D: Current quoted Ebay Seller that prompted this discussion with Large rolling air-cells.

Quoted Ebay Seller's eggs, most have Large air-cells, liquidy albumen (couple from that same delivery have small to no air-cells and roundish Orange-yellow yolks). Upon cracking one open it behaved like an egg sitting on the counter for over thirty days. Yolk was a deep yellow with some separation.
Picture #1 is quoted ebay seller White shell.
Picture #2 is eggs from different ebay seller set the same day, shell is dark brownish-pink.
Yup. It's always disappointing when they don't develop. Regardless of source and shipping. Best of luck on this hatch:jumpy

Have a sample of one of my other chicken breeds.

I don't buy eggs off of sites like eBay because you really don't know what the parent stock is and the seller can tell you anything. I would rather buy from a reputable breeder for the breed I want. I have a picture I'll see if I can find it from an ad from someone trying to sell their chicks.
