Okay, we'll find a way to separate them. The guy keeping us told us he wouldn't mess with them til they were older and he keeps a ton of ducks but I guess I shouldn't have trusted him. Would it be okay to keep them together in their pen with supervision for a few hours a day so he doesn't get lonely?

I would think so. As long as you know the signs of him wanting to mate.
I would keep them in an area where they can still see each other so Mr. Rice doesn't get lonely again.

Okay, a pen has been built. It's not very pretty and it's going to be super annoying to clean but it's functional for a few months. They'll be able to see each other and sit by each other at their fence. I'll only keep them together when I'm watching them closely. So now I just keep them separated until they start laying eggs and then they can live together full time right? I'm looking into getting a couple adult females too but there just aren't any in my area right now that I can find which is why we got these girls.
