I bought a Red Star and a Black Star from the pullet bin at the feed store. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but doesn't that mean that they are definitely girls? I just want to be sure before i get even more attached that I can keep them. They are about 6 weeks old and the Black sex link looks like she/he has the start of wattles.

you should be just fine. in sex inks the girls hatch one color and the boys another.

Pullets are young hens, but if he seller can't sex them then it could be either. Also

Thanks! My Black Sex Link definitely does not have any white on her head. Woo Hoo! She is one of my favorites!!
