This is not a nice take at all. We build relationships with our animals, unique, irreplaceable relationships. You're disregarding it completely. Animals are not toys, if a toy gets broken we throw it away and buy a new one, that's not what we do with animals. With animals we fight till the very end, because we love them (or at least humans do). And if all that wasn't enough, your statement is plainly wrong. Prolapse is not something contagious, or any sort of disease to begin with
