PLEASE HELP ASAP!! CHICKEN IN PAIN WITH RED BALL

Then I would try it, honey is a great helper with diseases and has been used for 1000 of years.
Just rub a bit of it on and try and hold the vent in place. Mabye you could take a picture of her vent so we can see how it looks now and how bad it is compared to this morning:hugs
i’ll try that in a few minutes, im letting her rest rn cus shes very tired :)

I’m sorry to hear she pushed it back out, with a severe case of prolapse like your hen a vet probably need to get involved so they can stitch it up, you can try and keep pushing it in but I don’t really know how much that will help, rest will probably also help her hopefully Gain a little strength back. Right now your task is to keep her alive and make sure she drinks and poops. Chicken can go a couple of days without eating but drinking is really important. You could also add some vitamins, electrolytes or sugar to her water to give her a boost of energy:)
You’re doing a great job:hugs

thank you! i think the vets open again tomorrow so i hope she’ll make it till then! i really needed to hear that thank you :)

Try to keep it clean if you can
I'd apply the honey, and give it a chance to become less inflamed, and then maybe try it again after a bit.
But I agree that you may need a vet for this
