I would try to clean out her beak with a bulb/ear syringe or QTips, and get the airway open. You cannot see or swab out gapeworms in the throat, contrary to some advice online. They usually are only seen inside the trachea after death. Gapeworm is a rarer worm in chickens, usually in tropical regions. But SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer 1/4 ml per pound daily for 5 days can be used to treat gapeworms. You can diagnose gapeworms with a fecal float where the eggs could be seen.
