Please help asap!

So another question for you all! Sorry for all the questions, we are first timers here, and have had chickens for 2 months so still learning a ton of stuff!
So our injured girl, gertrude, laid another egg today, however this one was soft, broken and gross, is this because she's injured ? She's away from light ( other than heat lamp) , she is currently in basement,
On a happy note the rest of the chickens who escaped the attack don't appear traumatized as we got 6 eggs from them today!

I am with Casportpony, she may need calcium. First off make sure that there is no egg or shell in her vent, this could lead to infection. I give my layers oyster shells, and I feed back egg shells. Just be sure to crush them up so that they do not resemble the eggs they lay! Glad Gertrude is doing well.

UPDATE!

Gertrude is back with the girls, put her back about a week ago, she's happy to be back and went right back to being queen bee of the coop.
Thanks to all of you for your advice and help!
This is a great site for me to use for help when I need it!
